==Eric Djemba-Djemba== Eric Daniel Djemba-Djemba (born 4 May 1981) is a Cameroonian international footballer best known for ballsing up the footballers lifestyle by bankrupting himself on a fleet of 4x4's and 30 bank accounts. He made an impression at his first European club Nantes where his reputation grew as a 'no-nonsense midfielder' which would eventually see him move to Old Trafford. ==The New Roy Keane?== His two years at Nantes led Sir Alex Ferguson to make another of his rash, somewhat farcical signings of the mid 'noughties' when he splashed out £3.5m. Djemba-Djemba spent two rather fruitless years at Old Trafford, however, he did manage to gain cult hero status after a scuffed volley in extra time helped beat unimaginable Champions League Semi Finalists Leeds United in the pointless League Cup. Ferguson soon shipped Djemba-Djemba off to anybody who would have him. Aston Villa seemingly attracted by his name, decided to spend £1.5m on the caricature that Eric Djemba-Djemba had become. ==The Demise of Eric Djemba-Djemba== Having wasted his £75,000 p/month wages at Old Trafford on cars and generous donations to strangers, Eric Djemba-Djemba was starting to lose any sanity he may once have had. An unsuccessful spell at Villa Park was ended when he was shipped off on loan to Burnley before finally having his contract terminated by Martin O'Neill, the first manager who had shown any kind of common sense regarding the midfielder. In 2007, he was forced to file for bankruptcy before moving to Qatar with the hope of earning enough money to finally complete his set of 22 4x4's and fulfil his life long ambition of creating Land Rover football. This wasn't to be the case as the chairman of Qatar SC had seen Eric play and decided not to offer him daft wages. Once he had realised his money grabbing days were over, and that he was surprisingly too good for the Qatar league, he left after one season, opting for a new challenge in the dire Danish league. ==Eric Djemba-Djemba Back In The Limelight?== With everyone else seemingly being interviewed about the Cristiano Ronaldo - Real Madrid saga, Eric put himself forward trying to stir up controversy by suggesting Cristiano Ronaldo had always preferred Barcelona over Real, however, as per, nobody listened to what he had to say, with good reason. ==Unfortunate Name== Unlike Jay-Jay Okocha, Eric Djemba-Djemba wasn't named twice because he had remarkable talent, it was in fact just a clerical error in the Douala City hospital, his parents decided not to change his birth certificate in the hope he would grow up to be 'a bit of a character'.
